For those that might be interested Rick Riordan's Book, Percy Jackson and the Olympians : The Lightning Thief, has been made into a move and is scheduled for release in Feb. 2010. I have an article that has the trailer with it if any one is interested. Heres the link.

I'm so excited for the movie! But I noticed on Riordan's blog (thanks for alerting me to it) that the movie will diverge from the book. any thoughts? is it okay for movies based on books to vary from the story? and how far is too far?
